The Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP) set up by the Government of Canada began in May 2024 and continues to be rolled out progressively. Eventually, more than 2.5 million Quebecers will be eligible. Perhaps you’ll be one of them?

If you are a beneficiary of this new plan, make sure you have your Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP) card and photo ID (health insurance card, driver’s license, etc.) with you when you come for your appointment.
Although you can now benefit from financial assistance through this program, you will have to pay the difference between the amount covered by the CDCP and the fee for the care provided by the professional at the clinic.
